A deaf NC man killed by cop after chase

the cops misunderstood Harris since he was deaf and using American Sign Language. According to the police, Harris failed to pull over during a traffic stop and ran a police chase to his home which lasted sever miles. Soon after, he jumped out of his car without following police commands. The police officer opened fire and Harris was killed. Trooper Saunders is black and has been placed on administrative leave upon pending investigation by the police department.
