Idaho School for the Deaf Alum Charles Stanger

“Chuck was born October 22, 1942, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Charles Adonis Stanger Sr. and Helen Angenetta Lewis Stanger. He grew up and attended schools in Twin Falls and graduated from the Gooding Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind. He also attended Idaho State University.

On July 3, 1965, he married Della Joan Stanger in St. Anthony, Idaho. Chuck and Della made there home in Boise Idaho, where Chuck worked as an inventory supply specialist for Hewlett Packard. He retired and relocated east Idaho.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Della Stanger of Shelley, ID; son, Don Stanger and his wife Leslie of Boise, ID; son, Travis Stanger of Shelley, ID; daughter, Tabatha McKnight and her husband Charles of Shelley, ID; sister, Barbara Ward of Elko NV; and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Tim Stanger, and sister, Dorothy June Long
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, ASL Ward, Ammon Idaho East Stake, at 5366 East 1st Street, Ammon, Idaho.
The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. The service will include interpreters. A luncheon will be held following the service. Burial will follow at Amesville Cemetery, HWY 89 Co Rd 105, Alpine, Wyoming.”
